Re: Ringway

Hi Tom, Thanks for the info, I must admit that it's not something I would have thought about buying to use as a Keyboard and would have dismissed it out of hand as just an organ, but this is handy to know, A friend of mine has a Bohm organ and it is as good if not better than any arranger I have hea...

Re: Two Tracks played differently.

Hi Peter,

Both of them sound very good and are a good compositions of yours, and you certainly know how to get the best out of your keyboard,
My own personal preference is Lovers Battle Theme Part Two don't ask me why but its the one I liked the most.

Hi Devonplayer, Understand exactly what your saying about learning new software, its not as easy when you are older compared to when you were younger, and it's also true that the more you use one piece of software the more proficient you can become using it, Its a good idea to wait for the sales, if...

Hi Devonplayer, The free version of Anvil Studio is very limited in what it can do, so it may not be possible to achieve what you want without having to buy an extra module to achieve what you want, not really sure what to suggest as and alternative to anvil ? Heres a few links that may or may not b...

Re: YAMAHA MX49 Demo&Review [English Captions]

Hi Fred, I am not sure to be honest, I would certainly think that you would be able to use it as an external sound module, by taking a midi feed from the organ to the MX and then taking the audio out of the MX and routing it back to the organ ? ( I think that would be possible ) I only use it as a s...

Korg Bonus Ware - Free Style etc...

Hi ALL, Being a Korg owner and user I thought I would post this link to Korgs website, they periodically give away free styles for their range of arranger keyboards so its well worth keeping an eye on it to get your free styles and of course any updates that Korg may make to their operating systems....

Re: Dreaming, Own Composition

Hi Pete,

Interesting in that you compose your pieces with the melody first and then the chords , which is totally the opposite
way I do, I go for a chord progression first and then choose a style and work the melody out last ,

Re: Casio CT-X5000 Audition at NAMM

Hi Mike,

Casio have some stiff competition from Yamaha and Korg and Computer and Ipad generated music, as the leaders having some great sounding keyboards
but for anyone just starting out they are a good buy in my opinion, will certainly try them out the next time I am in Newcastle
