Re: Musikmesse 2013: The Yamaha MX61 is a 61 key synthesizer

He said, toward the end, that you could use it on a train! So it runs off batteries too? ??? Extra weight of installed C size batteries takes the weight up to 23 kilos! ??? I wonder what the music production software is they've included. XGworks ST updated? ... Ah no. I see it, Cubase AI. Don't you ...

Re: Discovery Of A Few LP's In The Attic

"Good grief Danger Mouse! What a lot you've got!"

That's a good collection you've got there.
However did you find time to listen to them all?

Regards,
John.

Re: Just gone bonkers!

Sounds like a sound purchase. Groan! I have an old synthesizer I've been thinking about pulling out of the closet. Probably going to wait until I have spent more time with my S910. It's been in the closet so long I'm not sure if it will even work. It's a Siel made in Italy. Have fun! :D...

Just gone bonkers!

For some time I've been looking for a keyboard that would mainly serve as an input device to sequencing the classical tracks that I make for rehearsal / performance for my wife, an operatic mezzo. I've been looking at the various incarnations of controller keyboards for some little while, but sudden...

Re: HAPPY BIRTHDAY

And from me too, Mike.

I saw it was over in my neck of the woods and came visiting.

Know what you mean about tempus fugit.
Where did 2012 go?

Kind regards,
John.

Re: Another stunner from Torvill and Dean

There was something magical about the way they performed together.
So much in harmony it seemed.

Thanks again.

Re: Social Experiment - Washington Post

Great stuff, Mike, Perhaps you don't know, my wife's an operatic soprano, going on towards the mezzo end. Almost every day of the week I hear Bach and Handel not to mention Puccini and Verdi in rehearsal. I spend a lot of my time making rehearsal tracks for her using a virtual orchestra. I used to p...

Re: Social Experiment - Washington Post

Many, many years ago, I was on the way to visit a customer in London and, as I passed through Oxford Circus, there was a small group of young string players playing Bach. Must have been in the eighties. Johann Sebastian has always been my passion. (Kein leben ohne Bach) I stayed for quarter of an ho...

Re: How'a this for a stunning performance

Aaah!

Torvill and Dean, weren't they just the best?

No other couple, before or since, has put together IMHO a better routine so beautifully danced.
But then maybe I'm just showing my age.

A great reminder, thank you.
Kind regards,
John.
