Thanks Brian. That is a good melody you have there. I have composed before using chord progressions but cant even think of a suitable style to reflect railways/ I'll give it a bit more thought. .. Cheers .. Fred

Railways

I have been asked to write some background music for model railway DVDs to avoid using copywrite material. I don't have a clue where to start. Any idea? Anyone want to have a go? .. Fred

Re: Lower music stand, Technics G100, AR 100 , Orla GT9000

I have severe arthritis in my neck and much of the time holding my head up to read music is just too painful to allow me to play. I can only play from music, no ability to play from memory. I used sheet plastic ( left over from my railway modeling days ) to build an extension that lowers my music by...

Re: Are your notes played on a Vibraphone or Piano in Stereo

Hugh. My computer speakers are about 4' apart and I often get a marked stereo effect from them while listening to music. This sample of yours has no effect from the speakers but a well defined one using headphones. .. Fred

Hugh. I took delivery of a Rialto a couple of weeks ago. Trevor kindly travelled up from Yarmouth to demonstrate several of the organs features. It's a doddle to play. ' Just for you 1 ' came free with the Lowrey. Pop in and have a play any time you are passing. .. Fred
