Thanks a lot for watching and listening to video, and pleased that you enjoyed it, its such a beautiful song and I am pleased the the arrangement I did turned out so well.
To me chords are just about everything, right through my musical career ( sounds impressive ) I have used chords for my music , be it in a band playing guitar or on an arranger keyboard for the auto accompaniment it all needs chords, so get stuck in young man
Its a handy little online program for experimenting with chord progressions and yes I always start with a chord progression for anything I create as it does give you a good Idea what notes to use for the bassline and a good Idea what the melody line could be
Hi Hugh, Behringer dont do a driver that you want, or they did not, and Audacity does not natively support AISO. Here are links to what I have used and are as far as I know safe 64 Bit driver https://www.dropbox.com/s/ktf6wn2aok45xgh/BEHRINGER_2902_X64_2.8.40.zip?dl=0 32 bit driver https://www.dropb...
Hi Hugh, My initial thoughts would be to record the audio onto your Tyros 4s hard drive as a wave file and copy from there to a usb stick and import that into Audacity that way. The only time I have recorded into Audacity directly was when I had a Korg arranger and the onboard recordings were not th...
Hi Den, Thanks a lot for listening and commenting and pleased that you enjoyed it, for me creating something like that helps keep my interest going or otherwise I think I would have packed it all in by now, as I have run out of tunes I want to play or have enough musical skills to play, so its a don...
Thanks for having a listen and commenting and pleased that you enjoyed it, trying to get away from making exact copies of the originals and trying to put a bit more of me in them,
I have heard this tune before but would not of recognized it from its title , but that was a very nice easy to listen to piece with some real sweet voicing.
Hi Den, Thanks a lot for having a listen and commenting and pleased that you enjoyed it, the driving bass line and electronic drums are either something you love or hate in the absence of any good instrumental groups like the Shadows or Tornados I am beginning to enjoy the more modern electronic ins...
This was as far as I can remeber was one of the first instrumentals to use an Electronic Keyboard, my version is slightly more upbeat with the obligatory driving bassline and electronic drums
Hi Hugh, I do find modern vocal music very unstructured, but that's probably just because I am an old fart that's used to the structured music of the 60s through to the 80s, and thats why if I listen to current day music its nearly always instrumentals as opposed to vocals as they do tend to have mo...
I have always been in a band, never been a solo player. Last time I played in a band was two and a half years ago . We did a charity do for Macmillan cancer nurses. Safety in numbers, thats my motto
Hi Hugh, Thanks lot for having a listen and commenting, To be honest using chords as a basis for the tune is really old school and the easiest way to do it as you more or less have the Bass and melody line notes decided for you by the chords. This approach for me comes from using an arranger keyboar...
Hi All, Well here we are 2022 and another year older ? decided to get more creative this year if possible and stop using any auto accompaniment software or styles and just create my own stuff ? so here is the first result. Decide to keep it as simple as possible to start off with so this short piece...
