Re: Yamaha's Official Tyros 5 Site ...

So this should now bring and end the the countless Chinese whispers about the T5.

Good luck to all who buy one.

Re: New club site for Yamaha supporters

Thanks for the update Mike and I fully support your policy.
Even if the other forum had a reciprocal open policy, I would have no desire to see what he was up to.

Keep up the good work,

Re: New club site for Yamaha supporters

If Boo Boo from Glasgow is a masquerade and you have proof, why is she still allowed access to this Forum?

Time to put CMF to bed and ignore it and all the members who have their heads buried in sand!

Re: New club site for Yamaha supporters

I feel we should resist the temptation to post replies on subjects like this. All it does is provide free advertising for the person we now dislike. My thoughts on this person have been previously made public
and it is pointless to air them again.

Re: Departing from CMF.

I was booted out of CMF months ago after being so bold as to make my thoughts known in a PM to the owner/admin of the Forum. One of my friends also had his membership removed " as he was not an active poster on the Forum". . In my experience the majority of Forums have more members ...

Re: Yamaha PSR-E243 & PSR-E343 Keyboard Demos at NAMM 2013

Disagree about being a sales gimmick but do amit some apps are not all that useful for day to day music performance. The IPad is having more and more support in the music industry and will no doubt be incorporated in the T5 which, according to my sources, will appear in 2014. Work is already ongoing...

Re: NAMM 2013: Vibrato Sax Polycarbonate Saxophones

One of the sax players I played with in the 60's had a plastic Alto sax. Very good tone!

Re: Bandwidth Problems - Absolute Tosh!

I had decided not to further expand on this thread but here is my parting shot on the matter. I was banned for ever after I sent him a PM in which I stated that his banning members for not posting on the forum was a thoughtless action. I must say that some of my other comments were a bit more pointe...

Re: Toys? I don't think so! - New AiR Technology From Casio

Certainly sounds good, however, you can only judge a piano's action by playing it for your self.

Midi interface iPad & T3

Hi , Here is a link to the Apple store http://store.apple.com/uk/product/H7498ZM/A/irig-midi-interface This midi interface allows connection between an iPad and most Midi devices. Today it was used to connect a midi keyboard to my iPad and then opened up the app " Garage Band". I was able ...

Re: Are bi-focals any good for music reading?

You always go down the route I've taken. All my music is on Gigbook, an iPad app, and the iPad is on a custom stand. The boom can be made to come as close as you need it to be. Change music by swiping with your finger or buy a blue tooth page turner. Only mod to the Tyoros was the removal of the mus...

Re: Twin setup with Tyros 3 (midi problem)

Thanks for the input Eileen, but I already have a template for this and the split point is set at C1.

Still experimenting to get the NP11 to perform other functions than just acting as a "dumb" keyboard for the left hand section of the T3.

Re: Twin setup with Tyros 3 (midi problem)

Thanks Mike. Seems I posted a piece of misinfirmation: when CH1 is set to Song, the LEFT voice on the T3 is not being silenced and so I am using the slider volume control to cut off the left audio. Supposedly it is possible to do 2 setups for LEFT OFF or ON. Not a big deal as I have now discovered. ...

Twin setup with Tyros 3 (midi problem)

Hello all, I picked up a Yamaha Piaggero NP11 at my local music shop sale this afternoon. It is now connected via midi cable to my T3 and all is working except 1 item. I cannot silence the Left hand voice on the T3. I followed the normal setup instructions available on the web but page to receive an...
