Re: Local Musicians

Brian Hi, Alan is an awesome keyboardist - his relaxed style of playing three keyboards with that thingy he taps out drum solos on with end result sounding like a big band blows me away every time I listen to him :D He also makes some of the very best backing tracks on the planet - there are quite a...

Re: Organ V keyboard

Wotcha Brian, I have been watching this topic develop over the last week or so and it's been interesting to read the comments posted so I thought I would add my 2 cents worth  I'm with Andy all the way on this one - given the choice it would be an organ over a keyboard everyday! BUT .... it ha...

Hiya Fred, Firstly, confirm that you are using Google Chrome as your browser (web-ferret as you call it) To do that, go to the 3 horizontal line logo (see picture in my previous post) and hover over it and it should say 'Customize and control Google Chrome' When you have done that go here - h...

Re: Pop Ups

Hiya Fred, What browser are using? If you are using Chrome or Firefox you can go to their 'extension' pages and get the appropriate browser pop-up blocker - there will be a wide choice so choose one that has the most downloads as this will give you an idea of it's popularity and effectiveness. Re: John Bowdler

How does one learn to make the left hand jump from the lower to the upper manual and back again in tempo? John does it with ease even on the EL with a short upper manual. I guess it's just practice .... The absolute master at that technique has to be Richard Hills - to watch him doing with it both ...

Well that back fired ... spectacularly!

Hmmmmmm ... the attempt by Tony Stace and Andrew Nix at trying to follow Jean Martyn's success with the organ on 'Britains Got Talent' failed big time tonight .... four X's in less than 15 seconds! The electronic organ already suffers a 'lack of esteem' where the general public are concerned - so th...

Hiya Tony,

Hmmmm - I hope they are able to find a new home for the entire collection - it would be a disaster to see them returned to a pile of bits in a shed somewhere.

Wotcha guys, During the late 70's and early 80's I used go to many 'open air' summer concerts, my favourite venue was Kenwood House in North London. I would regularly go when Christopher Hogwood and the AAM were performing - always superb concerts - they were enjoyed whilst drinking ice cold gin &am...

Re: He`s Gone

Personally I have never liked him, his rudeness and arrogance irritates the hell out of me. As for him being sacked ... the BBC made the right decision - to do anything less would be to endorse workplace violence.
