Re: Bandwidth Problems - Absolute Tosh!

Jorgen, I think maybe he has seen the error of his ways. At least in your case. Here's what it says when I go to the forum, which I have been participating on almost everyday for about a year. "Sorry Wally Z, you are banned from using this forum! This ban is not set to expire." No reason w...

Re: Bandwidth Problems - Absolute Tosh!

Hi I have been banned too, now... You can see at http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/fora.htm which forum I have been banned from... Looks like some kind of "group suicide"... strange... No reason whatsoever... Jørgen He banned you! Wow! he must really be losing it. After all you've done, and c...

Re: Bandwidth Problems - Absolute Tosh!

What's funny is that I go by a different name on that forum. I wonder how he knew he had the correct Wally.
Perhaps he's banning everyone that is on this forum and on that one too. What a shame.

Re: Bandwidth Problems - Absolute Tosh!

I was just banned from a forum for no reason at all, so I guess I now know which one you're talking about now. Very strange! And I was a paying customer. Would be nice if they would at least have the courtesy to email me with a reason. I've been a good and contributing member of that forum since las...

I'm curious because I don't know who or what you're referring to. Speaking out about something that's wrong is a good thing. I'm just wondering If I'm one of those being lead up the garden path. Email?

Re: KORG Pa2x -v- KETRON Audya

Both sound really good. It's hard to make a comparison when they were not playing the same songs. But here is how my old ears see it. Tenor Sax goes to Korg Pa2X Big Band goes to Ketron Audya Grand Piano goes to both because they are basically the same. Salsa/Latin goes to Ketron Audya This is...

Re: Bert Smorenburg: PSR-S950 Style Programming Demonstratio

Could come in handy for quick Styles for recording originals. For those times when you don't need all the other stuff that Styles offer like intros, endings, and breaks. I know making a complete Style would be much more involved, but this little trick could come in handy, and might get folks like me...

Re: Are bi-focals any good for music reading?

Reading glasses from your local pharmacy are fine for reading including music, but should NOT be used for anything else (Particularly if you require prescription glasses). Bifocals are OK, but many users find they cannot get used to the 2 different images, fortunately varifocals are now available w...

Re: Are bi-focals any good for music reading?

I hope your eyes are worth more than a couple of quid. I personally wouldn't mess around with my eyes by using some non-prescription glasses from a drug store. Not being able to see properly could be the beginnings or symptom of something serious. I know lots of people do what you're suggesting by g...

Re: Are bi-focals any good for music reading?

I have been wearing bifocals for years and they work great for reading. I don't play from sheet music but I do occasionally have my manual or notes on the keyboard music stand. I can read finer print than most sheet music without any problem. With bifocals the lower half of the glasses is for near s...

Re: Korg Pa3x -v- Yamaha Tyros 4

Overall I have to agree with Eileen. It's really hard to make comparisons like this in my opinion. Who knows how these have been tuned and set up. The Tyros definitely sounded better on this video. Once again that's just my opinion. The voices seemed more like the real deal to me. I'll take one of ea...
