Re: Video Pad from NCH Software

What I was very impressed with was how you set up the Pan & Zoom . You set a 'Start Frame' and an 'End Frame', preferably keeping a full frame for one of them and making the other one smaller. You can position this wherever you like over the picture, but ideally it should contain a particular fe...

Re: Movie Maker from Windows Live Essentials 2012

Just to show you what a brilliant programme Movie Maker is, here is a video done by Brian007. In this one Brian has used some video clips rather than 'stills' and has put comments into his video about the piece he is playing. He has got these to scroll up the screen. Notice that he also has 'smooth'...

Hi Tony,

Enjoyed those, particularly the first one which is an old favourite. You have played that with such confidence! Not surprising really, and I wonder how many times over the years you have played this?

Glad to see you have your halo on. Enables you to listen to what you are playing.

Hi Torben,

Brought tears to my eyes too! Nadia has such a lovely voice, and your keyboard playing is superb! This carol has such lovely harmonies in it, and you brought them all out perfectly. I love harmony so listening (twice now) was a real treat.

Calypso Carol

This is one I put up in 2018. Love the Rhythm! I first heard this done with this rhythm at the school where I worked (many years ago). Re: DSP by Dennis

Den, There are two main reasons why we buy keyboards. 1: Switch them on and play something (commonly called 'Plug and Play'). Or 2: we can use the keyboard to create those sounds we are hankering after. I can see from what you have shown us above that the possibilities are endless, and the problem i...

Re: "Free Play" .. playing without a fixed rhythm

Here's a piece played by JT (barwonfan) which shows the effectiveness of not having any rhythm/style playing for parts of the song. Those lovely 'rounded' harmonies really do have a dramatic effect.
