Re: PhotoStage Slide Show from NCH Software

Back to my video of Blueberry Hill . I have re-loaded the Project into PhotoStage Slideshow so I can make a couple more adjustments to the video. Having discovered that I can do a 'Zoom' on my Intro I am going to do that for this video. Clicking on that first clip, I can do the text again by clickin...

Re: PhotoStage Slide Show from NCH Software

More features of this program I am investigating. 1. One thing I always like to do is to have my Title "zooming in", so am wondering if it will do that for me in PhotoStage Slide Show. It had said at one point that you couldn't do two Effects (you can do as many as you like in VideoPad) bu...

Re: Making Movies

Den, I find changing the slide at the right point in the music distracting. Why? Because it is distracting me from listening to the music . I am waiting for the change of picture to come with the end of a music phrase. I think like anything we do, too much of the same thing doesn't bode well. You sa...

Re: PhotoStage Slide Show from NCH Software

Zoom and Pan both work by having a first rectangular frame positioned over your picture (the Start frame), followed by a second (the End frame). Both frames have to be 16:9 and the program automatically puts the frames onto your picture as a red rectangle. The first frame, when it's running, 'fills'...

Chord Inversions creating a Bass line

I have mentioned Chord Inversions in another Topic, where I use Chord Inversions for getting the harmony I want to hear by using a Left Hand Voice . Some comments on getting those photos/video clips where you want them on the slideshow. 1. This will move all the pictures across the screen so you can find...

Here's another one with two completely different rhythms. I Can't Tell A Waltz From A Tango . I have played this on my Tyros 4, first as a Waltz; and then as a Tango. Re: Nearer My God To Thee

Hi Ken, Using the expression pedal is important. You need an expression pedal to put 'life' into your music. Organs come with them anyway, but with keyboards you have to buy them separately. They are called 'volume' pedals, and on keyboards you can choose which parts of your setup you control. Eg. E...

Re: Putting expression into your playing

Here's another example of Jon using his volume pedal to give 'expression' to his music. A slow piece this time (a Waltz) so it is more obvious what effect the volume pedal is having. Without using it, the piece would sound technically perfect, but would be 'lifeless'. When Irish Eyes Are Smiling / C...
