Certainly a nice easy to listen to piece with some really great sounding and very appropriate voices for the tune, the video was full of atmosphere and complemented the music.
Hi ALL, I have been working on this off and on for a while and decided to finally finish it so I can move on to something else. This is best described as a mixture of late 1950s/early 1960s cheesy instrumentals that use early keyboards and some Brass instruments and a late 1970s/ early 1980s Disco w...
Thanks a lot for watching the video and listening to the music and pleased that you enjoyed it, was one of those tunes that the moment I started to record it the hairs on the back of my neck stood up , strange as it not really my style of music ?
Thanks a lot for watching the video and listening to the music and pleased that you enjoyed it, that's the only thing I miss form my Yamaha arranger days.
Hi Ken, Thanks for watching the video and pleased that you enjoyed it, yes that guitar voices is just to die for as it has the shadows written all over it, unfortunately I no longer have that keyboard and I have tried various guitar vsts and nothing comes anywhere near as yet ? the search goes on. C...
Thanks a lot for listening and commenting and pleased that you enjoyed it , I think its popular because its of a certain era when the shadows were in their heyday and the electric guitar was the in instrument, great days.
Thanks a lot for watching the video and commenting and pleased that you enjoyed it, Some pieces of music come together straight away and this was one of them so it did deserve a video to go along with it, must try and get back into video making more .
Here is one I did earlier as they say in Blue Peter , this is from when I had my Yamaha PSR S975 Keyboard and probably one of the best sounding guitars on a keyboard
hi Hugh, Yes totally different and no way as easy as it sounds our looks, but you have to try these things out just to see what you can achieve. not sure I would do it on a regular basis but certainly and interesting little project, Watch this video to find and use Creative Commons Videos on youtube...
Yes its a world apart from just playing a piece, a lot of fun searching through all the voices in my Korg Extreme vst and try to make something thats there but not to distracting
Thanks a lot for having a listen and commenting, yes totally different but I needed a change doing covers all the time gets a little boring after a while it's really hard to come up with something original but keeps the interest going.
Hi ALL, Trying something a little different, instead of adding a video to a piece of music I have played, I am adding some music I created to go along with a short video clip I found on youtube Creating background music for a video is a lot harder than I thought it would be as it just needs to be th...
Hi Hugh, I have a download of around 21mb and upload of about 4mp we are with sky Fiber to Cabinet and the nearest cabinet is 2600 meters away the top speed on the plan we are on is 36mb so we lose a fair bit owing to the cabinet being so far away as from the cabinet to us is copper wire. They are j...
Hi Hugh, This is one of the things that made me less interested and inclined to create videos. Once over, Youtube was simply a place for people to showcase their videos. But now its become a source of income for a growing number of unscrupulous individuals that want to make money out of someone else...
Hi Hugh, Gets more interesting as it goes on this one, I am intending to start to make a few videos myself for my music so its one to watch out for. What amazes me is how Youtube can check all the uploads it gets in a day as there must be thousands, yes it may well be automated but some one will hav...
Hi Hugh, Thats really interesting and such a shame after all the work you put in on it, first time I have heard of this happening. Certainly never happened to me? Copyright claims are par for the course when posting covers of popular music but this is a whole new level. Maybe have a look at whats al...
Hi Den, I would say its very achieveable for you to do that, and heres the but, you would have to totaly re-learning the way you play and think about music as musicians that use arranger/auto accompiment instruments we look at things in a totaly different way, as we tend to look at all the instrumen...
Hi Ron, I cant remeber how I used to do it when I had my Tyros 5 , but this much I can tell you, save it as a Midi first, there is a section that allows you to pick the channel the bad notes are on and correct them and save it, but for the life of me I cant remember what its called , sorry Brian007
Unfortunately I don't know what to suggest you try next, mine worked straight out of the box so to speak so I haven't really had any issues with it there are plenty of other free programs out there that will do the same so maybe try one of them, sorry I cant be of more help
Hi Den I have personally have not had any problems with using the software , I start it and then click the application I want to record the screen of ( in my case Cakewalk ) and just let it got to I am finished, then I close down Cakewalk and go back to the Debut recording software and stop it, and ...
Hi Hugh, He is right there are only so many chords available to use so its inevitable that some crossover between songs will happen, I think that to make a song or instrumental sound new and different is hard and that's where Tempo and arrangement come in and not just chords alone But it can be done...
