Re: Musikmesse 2015: 2 New Keyboards From Yamaha

You're getting a hell of a lot of keyboard for your money here.
Wouldn't mind getting one for carting up and down stairs.

Re: Koi

Hi Fred Good luck with the fish. My father in law (Alf) breeds Koi, he has some huge fish. A couple of years back we bought the contents of a pond as the owner was scared his little boy may fall in. We got about 12 fish and a hoard of equipment, filters, pumps, lights etc. Alf sold these separately ...

Re: Organ - Keyboard or What?

Hi Brian

It could be an Electric Organ. When we had the shop Dad would say if it had an electric pump it was an Electric Organ, valves and transistors meant Electronic. Her indoors thinks I call mine "Upstairs" as I keep saying I'm going upstairs for half an hour!

Organ - Keyboard or What?

Hi All I didn't want to hijack Mikes post regarding the organists on Britain's Got Talent so I've started a new topic. Bill commented with the following... "... mention the word organ and you automatically alienate yourself from 99% of the general public, as they automatically assume it’s eithe...

Re: Keith's Room - from chaos to order!

Hi Keith Your Music Room looks fantastic, I'm really envious. You've mentioned your organ, several keyboards, trunking, mixing equipment etc but you've missed out the most important piece of information we all need to know. How the hell did you sell the idea to her who must be obeyed! :o Did...

Re: Something Different

Hi Keith

You performed well there. They're all new tunes to me and I particularly like the voices on the second one. I have to agree, it sounded like I was sitting in Durham Cathedral. :D

Hi Colin I can't comment on your present set up but I'll tell you about my experience with Technics and Yamaha if I may. A number of years ago I traded a Yamaha for the Technics 5000. Re: Are bi-focals any good for music reading?

Hi Michael

Before you lay out any money at the opticians, try this. Pop into your local pound shop and test a pair at a suitable distance. Then buy an extra pair, the next strength up. You'll see if this solves your problem for a couple of quid!

There can't be many people who learnt to play the keyboard without playing one of Andy's songs. Can't believe he was only 84. A sad loss.

Hi Wally

I've never had a problem with the 700 but the power supply on the PSR2000 was always extremely hot. I couldn't pick it up after use. I always laid it on a piece of wood and never left it unattended while live. This went on for four years before I sold it.
