Re: Orla Grande Theatre Organ

Hi Peter, I think we have exchanged mesaages in the AR Group and you gave me some assistance when trying to post in Sound Cloud, it's some time ago now, but I see you have an Orla and wondered if you knew of anybody who deals in spares as I think I need a new floppy disk drive for my GT9000 and I ca...

Re: Technics KN7000

I have a Technics KN7000 which I use alongside an Orla GT 9000 GLX2, the reason being that I am not very competant player and rely heavily on auto accompanient backings so I use the KN for the backings, sacriledge I can hear cries in the background. For many years I bought and exchanged a range of m...

Converting floppy disks to MP3 format

I have several tunes recorded floppy disks using a Yamaha AR organ, I no longer have this organ and find the floppies will not play as they are on my later organ an Orla GT9000 DXL2 or in the computer. Re: Using a keyboard as a slave unit

Thanks to all for the replies , yes the answer was to find the correct midi channel and in the end I did it on the keyboard because the organ uses more than just the 1,2 & 3 channels to transmit but I could not find out how to control or identify the channel I wanted. But the keyboard has a midi...

Using a keyboard as a slave unit

Readers may be horrified to know that I use a keyboard to supply the auto accompaniment for an organ but you can have the best of both worlds this way. Recently I connected a Technics KN7000 to an Orla GT9000DXL2 organ and got them to work together very well, however one phenomenon has popped up, wi...

I could not find any particular forum that seemed suitable, but I wondered if anyone could answer my basic question......... I have an Orla GT9000DLX2 organ and plan to use a Tecchnics KN7000 keyboard for the backings. I have done this before with other organs and modules, but the KN seems to have a...
