20 years. Pipes in the Peaks.

I was lucky enough to travel to the Pipes in the Peaks 20th anniversary concert at Thorpe near Ashbourne yesterday afternoon, starting with lunch at the 'Old Dog' opposite. Great concert featuring both the Compton and a Hammond and two organists. Really good way to spend an a few hours. .. Fred

Hugh. .. My Rialto has an expression pedal with a kick switch on both sides. I use them for 'up' and 'down' on the registrations. The Technics GA1 I had some years ago also had a 'fold down' lever under the lower manual. I can't remember what it did as I never got used to it. .. Fred

You must use the correct type of pedal for each operation whether they are Yamaha or another make. The switching inside is different. .. Fred

Graham,

I use an FC4 to change registrations etc. and an FC7 for volume on my T4. I understand that if you use a non Yamaha pedal you might have to reverse the polarity. That is very simple to do. .. Fred

Wednesday evening along with two friends we again visited the Sutton in Ashfield Electronic Organ Society to see Mark Thompson playing his Yamaha EL900. What a player! I do believe he has more fingers than anyone I have ever met. Eightynine people attended and the raffle raised £59. .. Fred

I am trying to upload a video from MovieMaker to UTube and have done this many times over the last few years. I keep getting 'Unknown error.' Have changed my password twice to no avail. I can't see any way of contacting YouTube. .. Signed .. Baffled of Nottingham
