Re: Allegro in G major - William Herschel

Hi Tony,

The advantage of playing an organ is that you have two different sounds available at all times. Just move from one keyboard to the other. Tony .. you are a very talented player and I take my hat off to you.

Hi Ken,

The classical ones are always the most difficult to play, and you have carried that off well.

Re: Haydn's Serenade

Hi Charles,

You have a great orchestra there! Your string sounds at the start are so realistic. Your idea of developing the piece so the whole orchestra could play it has come off really well.

Guitar Here's a great sounding Guitar, played by TDP Member Arthur on a Tyros 4. With the 'Initial touch' ON he has played this piece in such a way that you can even hear his fingers moving up and plucking the strings. Re: Exquisite Thing

Carloss, You know, I always write the scores for my songs, just so I'm able to play a certain song. It has to be said .. you're brilliant! As I don't read music I certainly couldn't write it. Am I correct in saying that if you record your composition as MIDI then you can get a program that will 'pro...

Re: Building a piece up as you play through it

Of course you can build up a piece of music without using a STYLE which has more going for it as you move along through the song. Here is a Classical piece played by TDP Member Torben Goldin ( torben ) which, being classical, lends itself naturally to building it up towards the end. This is what Tor...

Re: Building a piece up as you play through it

Here's one by TDP Member George, playing Circle of Life (from The Lino King) on his Genos keyboard. Starts with an interesting 'African' rhythm accompanying Pan Pipes, and then he builds the piece up as he goes along.

Re: Exquisite Thing

Hi Carloss, I think the best way of describing your playing is ... relaxing music. Is this 'composition' just something that comes to you as you go along? ... or could you repeat it and play it exactly the same? Mind you, I wouldn't know whether you had or whether you hadn't played it the same. Hugh

Re: Free VST - Cakewalk Studio Instruments

Brian, What you have been putting up here is very interesting, and shows how one can create music a different way. Peter,

What an amazing recording that was! Loved all the harmonies in the piece. You all came over so well! No .. I didn't spot which one was you even though I had the video up to FULL SCREEN.

Must be quite a technical effort to put all your contributions together and get them synchronised.
