Re: Palm Sunday music

Hi Tony, Enjoyed those. And that's a very nice sounding organ you have there. The only things that was missing were the choir and congregation to sing the words so we could join in. I had two uncles who were both Vicars .. one in Bexhill-on-Sea, Sussex and the other in Langtree, Torrington. Devon, I...

Re: How to play acoustic instruments authentically on a keyb

Saxophone I know the Subject of this Topic is "How to play acoustic instruments authentically on a keyboard", but it does help to analyse closely how a real Saxophone is played. So take a look/listen to this and try to pick up how the player gets his sound from his instrument. czCM6ZNwHK8

Re: Just a closer walk

Hi Den,

Loved the way you played that hymn. Great organ sound, and I had noted that you were playing a 'full' selection of notes in your right hand. That's how organ pieces should be played as the organ is not a 'solo' instrument like a trumpet or a saxophone.

Tony, Loved the way you played that! I am smitten! Our Odeon Cinema here in Weston houses a Compton Organ, which the professionals play every so often. A very nice piece of music, and a very good recording too. The bass you are playing has come through very well. What did you record this with? Did you have a camcorder on a stand?

Re: Playing tips tutorial for keybaods

Thanks for that Arthur. As a pianist I couldn't do without having a Sustain Pedal when playing piano. With my AR 80 organ I do have an ' expression pedal (ie. it makes the sound louder of softer) which is great for putting 'expression' into pieces. But there isn't room down below with having bass pe...

Can anybody explain this .. Re: my computer & TV screen

Something strange. When I look at at my laptop screen .. or my TV .. the screen is set in jigsaw pieces, all interlocked together. I can see the edges of each piece, and they fit together perfectly to make the TV picture.

Is this permanent, do you think?
