Handel's Largo & Comments about playing a keyboard.

I don't often play classical pieces as a classical piece usually involves movement with both hands playing notes .. and to do this you have to be able to read the music. But I can just about manage to play a melody with an accompanying harmony, which I have done here using a FREE PLAY STYLE for the ...

Re: Let it go - my way

Torben,

That was a very dramatic piece! The FREEPLAY Style was great for doing your own thing with the melody. Then more thunder and into a Style with a strong beat bringing us to a full and satisfying conclusion. I think this arrangement is easily the best I have heard you do!

Now here's an interesting interpretation of a song, complete with thunder and lightning and rain. Let It Go , played by Torben Goldin. Re: Putting expression into your playing

I suppose that in playing an organ for nearly 30 years I am used to having an 'Expression Pedal'. All organs have one. I have one on my Tyros 4 (but it's called a Volume Pedal) and have my foot permanently on that and use it as I play. I cannot imagine how anyone could play a keyboard without one as...

Re: Nobody's-Sweetheart-Now

Jon,

A super piece of music, as always. I like how you have your 'balance' and don't have the backing hiding behind the melody. And, something I've said before, the way you have tweaked your voices to get that perfect sound has been well worth the effort of doing that.
