I do an equalization on all my MP3's after converting them from audio .wav files. That way everything will be at the same listening levels. Really helps if you burn them to CD's. You can use Audacity to do this or I prefer a program called MP3 Gain. It also removes clipping and is very user friendly...
I remember back in 1969 or 1970 a friend of mine purchased a reel to reel tape deck. I think it might have been a Sony. Not sure of that. I do remember it had what they called sound on sound. We thought that was the coolest thing ever. Well unless you can play every instrument in the world you're pr...
I didn't really want to say anything else as I feel it's disrespectful to the spirit of the original post about Mike's illness. However, I feel I need to say that firstly, Wally, you edited your post and deleted the most offensive part of it, thereby making it look like I didn't really have reason ...
Wally, I find your remarks deeply hurtful and offensive. I didn't suggest that anyone HAD tried to play down the seriousness of depression, merely some words of advice, which people could choose to take notice of or ignore, based on a lifetime of experience in this subject. My sole intention was to...
Hi Mike. I hope you begin to feel a little better before too long. Can I just make a point for any well wishers who may say things like "What are you depressed about?" Or, "Think positive!" Or "Try and focus on the good things in your life" etc etc. Many people do not ...
'clinically depressed' I usually get depressed when I go to the clinic also. Must be chemical imbalance. Not enough beer. How can such a nice person as you are be depressed? Take care, Mike and I'm glad you're feeling better.
Thank you Mike. It's been fun and enjoyable for me. I've been busy with other things lately and haven't spent much time on the keyboard. I still manage to visit here on a daily basis for the most part.
I've done the same thing only it got me in the webbing between thumb and fore finger. Ouch! Comes from trying to rush, and pushing too hard. Makes you call yourself names, like dumb ass. Good thing it wasn't a circular saw.

Well, since he's a moderator on that forum I could make an educated guess. lol
I was thinking about this the other day. What happened to many on this individuals forums will always be remembered by those that were involved. But if it was never mentioned it would probably never be thought of. So in the long run I think it would be better if he or his forums weren't even mention...
I think I would have talked to Joe. That's up to you. I'd want specifics on how they justify doing it. I think Joe is a straight shooter and would let you know or find out why.
I wouldn't join this man's forum again if it was the only keyboard forum in existence. Twice, I joined and regularly posted, and actually made a financial contribution to his running cost only to be 'deleted' from the forum (twice) with no reason given. He made some feeble excuse (can't remember ex...
He's consistent, that's for sure. He's a bit like the Movie Matrix. Keeps starting over and the results are always the same. Maybe he should change his name to Neo. At least he's not pretending to be a girl this time.
I had a Casio drum machine back in the 80's. It was really good and I think it was ahead of it's time at that time. Looked similar to that Roland they show in the video. I don't remember the model number.
