Re: Feelings

JT, i really liked the way you played "Feelings" with a Freeplay STYLE. Loads of 'feeling' and some lovely harmonies! When putting your video together, none of the pictures I wanted to use were the 'standard' 16:9 .. which meant that there would be 'black bars' on either side of the pictur...

Re: Video Pad from NCH Software

Another look at BLACK BARS created on either side of a picture when the picture is not the correct ratio for the video ie.16/9. Earlier on in this Topic I had used ZOOM to get rid of the 'black bars' by re-sizing the pictures to 16:9. This time I tried using CROP .. but that did not work! Although ...

I think I am right in saying that the 3.0 will not work any faster than a 2.0 unless your computer has a dedicated 3.0 USB Port?

Ken,

Wasn't aware of this one. JohnT says it's Cliff, so have been to YouTube to look.

Cliff Richard - Saviour's Day (Official Video)

Hope all those crowds of people at the end didn't try to walk along that footpath at the top of the cliff!

Re: O Holy Night...

Ken,

Really lovely. That piano and guitar went well with the boy soprano's voice. A completely different sound when you brought in the organ, and as you say, to finish with a 'cathedral organ' really finished the piece off.

Do you get bookings to 'play out'?

I know that things have changed and it is much more difficult these days to get bookings to 'play out'. Maybe for dancing, or old folks homes for them to have a 'sing-along'. But from what people tell me, it is much easier to get a booking if you sing as well as play. On Christmas Eve our family dec...

Using a LEFT HAND VOICE

When I play something I like to use a LEFT HAND VOICE, so I thought I would elaborate a bit on how I use them. When you use a STYLE, there is one PART in the STYLE that sounds very much like a 'left hand voice' in that it makes a continuous sound .. and that is PAD . What I find is that whatever is ...

Re: What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?...

Ken, Very nice. Particularly liked the Trumpet .. (and the Muted Trumpet too!).
