hi, can anyone help me with a midi issue? can you midi a slave keyboard to a yamaha psr1500, and split the left hand to it as you can with the tyros?

Yo Colin,
Using the PSR1500 as the midi controller requires a few changes in the settings

1) Press [FUNCTION]
2) Press [H] "MIDI"
3) Press [8V] “EDIT”
4) Press [TAB >] to “Transmit”
5) Press [3V] to “KEYBOARD”

This will allow any MIDI keyboard transmitting on channel 1 to be fully controlled by all the receiving keyboard panel settings.
If you are transmitting on a different channel, then use [A/B] buttons to scroll to that channel.
Hope this is useful to you.

Hiya Colin,

Do you have the user manual for the 1500? If not I do have a pdf copy of it that you are welcome to - I'm sure it will have all the info that you need to set the two keyboards up
