What do THEY know about TALENT? Tony Stace & Andrew Nix.

Two of the most talented organists we have today. Tony Stace and Andrew Nix. They have been to our Weston-super-Mare Organ & Keyboard Club several times. Both are brilliant players and entertainers.

And what do Britain's Got Talent think of them? I don't think any of the 'panel' have a clue about music. What they fail to realise is that the pair they are seeing on stage are both extremely talented musicians. If they played like that at our organ club they would get a standing ovation!

The judges on this TV show are just a bunch of self opiniated, big headed celebrity naffs.

However, I must side with their verdict. Those 2 organists did not shine mainly due to the choice of music they tried to perform. It was an outdated sound being played in a modern environment and organ sounds are not at all popular any more except perhaps from within Organ Clubs. Sorry, but that is the way I heard it albeit very briefly.

I agree theyre very talented BUT their choice on BGT was a poor one really and didnt represent a) what a modern organ can do and b) what they were capable of. Take a look at Brett Wales at the Music Museum, every piece of his would have been a better choice in my view. You only get a few seconds to impress Mr Cowell and they blew it.
