Peugeot Design New Pleyel Piano

Postby Mike Bracchi » 23 May 2012 18:58

I thought that this was quite interesting, a Peugeot designed piano ... let's hope it sounds better than my old Peugeot 406 did :D :D

It looks like a sleek Fazioli Piano to me  ... viewtopic.php?f=85&t=542&hilit=fazioli

Hello Eddie 'n' Wally

Yes it's certainly a nice looking piano, quite a bit sleeker than the Fazioli, whether it has any chance of making it big against the likes of Fazioli or the other heavyweights of the piano industry remains to be seen ... having said that Pleyel Pianos have been around for well over a hundred years - as for the Peugeot bit .... well who knows, maybe Peugeot is to Pleyel what AMG Motorenbau is to Mercedes or Carrozzeria Ghia is to Ford :D

This is not too surprising as Peugeot have been making salt and pepper grinders for over 170 years,i think they make other house hold goods also,i think the motor vehicles are relatively young compared to the age of Peugeot itself.

I never knew that ... I have had a few Peugeots in my time; I hope that their salt & pepper grinders are mechanically better than the cars

Peugeot certainly have some very talented designers working for them ... but I don't think we should mention Lieutenant Colombo's Peugeot 403.
