Hiya Bill,

Thank you for the video links, it's nice to see Michel Voncken's enthusiasm for the Tyros 5. I think the guitars on this instrument are extremely authentic sounding, likewise the string ensemble, just spot on for my ears :D

I would like to hear him run through more of the new styles and the pianos ... maybe there will be a video of that soon :)

All the best,

Mike

The T5 demo tours have started so keep an eye on YouTube for postings.

Here are 3 more from the demo at Bonners Music to keep you happy. (Perhaps some of our members attended and can fill us in on more details)

Enjoy

Wowsers, Susan Albers nailed it for me ... brilliant, super strings and the organ was quite something as, lets face it, the classical organ on all previous Tyros models was well naff.

The string ensembles are simply stunning ... this is more than just an updated T4, the only thing it has in common with it's predecessor is it's looks ... oh but, I wish they had changed those 'mickey mouse' blue lights ... but other than that I think it's a winner.

The Tyros 5 will surely put the 'lack lustre' back into Yamaha's Arranger/Keyboard sales in the EU ... despite the enthusiasm from T4 owners, it seems that it just didn't cut-it in terms of sales for 'The Corporation' in Europe.

I want one .... Citroen DS3 all extras, on a 12 plate, yellow & black, turbo diesel ... For Sale £4011

All the best,

Mike

I definitely agree, Mike. The more I hear the new Tyros 5, the more I like it.

I also agree about the blue lights. I do think it's time for an upgrade to the appearance, including the big blue buttons!
