The organist Cherry Wainer passed away today aged 79.

Cherry appeared on television playing the Hammond organ during the 50's and 60's most notably on Noel Gordon's 'Lunchbox' and then later on the TV music program 'Oh Boy'

Cherry was also the organist in the band 'Lord Rockingham's XI' who had a hit in 1959 with 'Hoots Mon'

Enjoy listening to Cherry Wainer playing the Hammond with Don Storer on drums - In later life, Don & Cherry married each other 8)
