This is my attempt at a number played by Joe Brown. I just love this song!

I have put up a YouTube video of Joe Brown singing this in Liverpool, in Music Videos, Member's Choice.

That’s really nice Hugh. Love the banjo, and then the orchestra with the banjo still playing..lovely!
Keep the music playing!

Hi Hugh, That was lovely, I believe that Joe sang that as a tribute to his friend George Harrison, They lived quite close to one another in nearby Henley, you played it very well... Pam :D

George was a big fan of the Banjo, and George Formby.
After he died, Paul McCartney often played a moving tribute to George at his live concerts. He would play George’s ‘Something’.

Keep the music playing!

Hi Hugh
I did enjoy your rendition of See you in my dreams,
It was my signature tune when I was on the circuit,
I knew it must be time to go home,
Very well played,
Regards Don,

Thank you all for your comments. It was quite difficult getting a Ukulele sound into a backing. For starters, I only have a Banjo voice. No Uke. Then, there was no suitable Style, even with a Banjo, so I had to put in my own Banjo PART into one of the Styles. This is what I enjoy doing. Creating my own PARTS for the songs I am playing.

Bronwyn and I have been to see Joe Brown at our Playhouse Theatre in Weston-super-Mare at least three times.

Hi Hugh. You can’t beat the old ones. Nice and smooth good selection of instruments. Had my feet tapping and singing along. On our band night we do a medley with this one and Dreams also Dream a little dream of me they work very well, Enjoyed it. John
