Adios Muchachos possibly Addios Donna Grazia

Postby ken horton » 03 Feb 2018 15:19

A little dramatic Argentinian Tango I think, but even the name may be incorrect ! This was kindly re-mastered by Hugh to sort out my audio recording. The tune had been aired just once before in the AR group some time ago and forgotten.

Ken. That has a nice 'Tango' rhythm, and the piano accordion goes so well with it. Hugh
It's all about the music. Yamaha AR 80 Player.

Thanks to all for your kind comments, a bit embarrassing but yes that is not the correct title ! I found the original Muchachos score just to confirm the mistake. So I have a job now to search through all my music books as I know it must be in there somewhere.
I have a vague suspicion it has the name Donna in there somewhere, it's going to take ages ! Ken (H)

Re: Adios Muchachos = Addios Donna Grazia

I found the same tune in an old music file I had discontinued to use some years ago, it's the same tune with the second title, but where the music is I have no idea and I have searched all the music books I use regularly the rest are in the loft !

I had to follow this through...........The correct title is Addio Donna Grazia written by Vico Torriani, (1951) I found a recording on Utube, an Italian song sung by a Swiss singer in German and on a German Decca label !
And I still can't find the music in my pile of books !

Hi Ken,

That was a great piece , with some great sounding instruments and a very infectious melody line
enjoyed listening to it very much.
