Postby JohnT » 05 Aug 2014 06:53

Hi Everyone. Well another good night at Fence Houses the theme was English, Scottish Irish etc. There was 19 members present and four keyboards Kn7000,Yamaha 950, Technics and a Korg. Eight of the members played. I give a selection:-
JohnT I'll take you home Kathleen and End of the Road
Olive. Skye boat song and If you ever go to Ireland.
George W. Scotland the brave and Lord of the Dance.
JonD. Things and Besamucho.
Bobby. Galway Bay and Peggy O'neil.
MikeG played and sang. Cockles and Mussells and Danny Boy.
Jeff. How can you buy Kilarney and Pride of Aaron.
Clem. Love me do.
There were many more tunes played for about two and a half hours. Thanks to those who brought keyboards. George's new 950 looked good and I am sure it will give him many hours of pleasure. Thanks to those who played.
Brian007 tried to video a few bits of us playing and may try to post it on the site. The sound quality etc may not be very good.

The next night is on Monday 11th but no one has volunteered a keyboard. If push comes to shove I will take my Tyros 4. Hope to see you all there. John
