North East keyboard club 10/11

Postby JohnT » 11 Nov 2014 14:39

Hi Everyone Well we had a splendid night. There were thirteen members present and eight members played. Thanks to Billy(golfer) for bringing his Tyros 4. Thanks to those who played a wide selection of tunes. They were Billy, Bobby, Nick, Clem, JonD, JohnT, and Ken Howe our new member. Ken passes on his good wishes for making him welcome and he will try to attend when possible. Also thanks to Mikeg who played and sang songs from the war years which was a fitting tribute to remembrance day.
There was no dampness in the keyboard and the night went on for three hours without a break.
The next night is band night on Monday 17th and it will be book three. See you there. John

I attended my second visit to the Club and all present made me most welcome

It was a great pleasure to play with other keyboard players in the Band Night

Helped no end with the sight reading as I had never played any of the numbers before
It was very exciting

Thanks in Particular to Chairman/Secretary John Taylor for getting me involved and for his enthusiasm
