Musicmakers club band night 18/5

hi Everyone. Well another good night of over 2 hours of non stop playing. My fingers are sore this morning. Five members brought keyboards so thanks to Kenneth, George, Clem, yours truly and a special thanks to Harry our leader who kept the music flowing. Bobby even had a go.
We started with one new song Georgy girl which was a bit of a success.
We did a number of medleys.
Waltzing with Ivor Novello- waltz of my heart, love is my reason,I've never been kissed before, Dragos serenade
Waltz - in the two twi twilight, down at the old bull and bush, glorious beer, three o'clock in the morning.
Beguine.- sand in my shoes. Yellow bird., Begin the beguine
Showboat. - can't help loving, Why do I love you, Make believe.
Cole porter Latin. What is this thing called love, I've got you under my skin, I get a kick out of you,, night and day.
Lots more so a good night was had by all.
George brought the copy of the video he recorded looking forward to watching it tonight.
Next night is Monday 1st June and the theme is Waltzes. Hope to see you there.
First lot of grandchildren just arrived then it's the school run. Then off to play golf for our first competition.
