Watching this Demo it is clear to me that the whole idea of the Genos isn't to download all your Tyros 5 stuff onto it and just play it as if you still have a Tyros 5. There are new features there which one should use to make one's playing more creative and interesting. No point in having all this new technology at your fingertips and not to use it. Listening to Martin Harris, one would have to have an idea in one's head of what one wanted to achieve, and this is a talent in itself. To get the best out of the instrument one would have to do a bit more than put a piece of music up in front of you and play it. The Tyros 5 will do that. Hugh

Things are moving on very fast, I have a Tyros 5 and it will do so much more than just let you play music,
and from what I have seen and heard in demos etc .... There is a big improvement in sound quality, and the operating
system has been updated and a touch screen added, and probably a lot more than that too, so all in all a pretty
impressive piece of kit, which will have a big learning curve if you want to get the most out of it
