Every indication is that it will be sold in the UK. It looks to be a very promising development and I have asked to be put on their mailing list.

Some interesting sounds here. It would be nice to hear things that weren't multitracked though.

Big Band sounds are a bit on the thin side to my ears and as for the theatre organ, since when did a Wurlitzer have drawbars and a leslie (albeit one that's been set to run slow!)?

But the Cathedral Trumpet was impressive as was Walk in the Black Forest (AKA the 'Gateau Song :) ), but the muted guitar solo was a little off, that mute needs to be tighter.

It will be interesting to see this being played live in the flesh. :)

The Bemore Music System (BMS) gives you endless possibilities
Most instruments are ‘locked’ systems. You buy an instrument with certain features and that will never change. The Bemore Music System gives you the opportunity to update the instrument with new functionality, styles, sounds, and so on. The BMS will play most styles of Yamaha, Ketron, Roland, and Korg. The sounds, balance, reverb effect, volume, chorus, and the volume for each style track can easily be changed. Then save your changes, and the saved style can be set as your new standard, adjusted to suit your taste and preference. The styles of other brands are not converted but simply read directly. You can load new styles by USB or we can do it for you with a Secured Internet Connection.

Load Sounds
We have chosen not to offer you 1000 sounds where you probably will only use 20. Each Genesis XS2 has a selection of high-quality sounds. A full orchestra, an amazing horn section, superb accordions, and a detailed sound bank with the legendary Klaus Wunderlich and Franz Lambert sounds. A Hammond H100 section, a Hammond X66 organ section, the typical Japanese organ sounds, a wonderful warm theater organ, and much more. Of course there are also great synthesizer sounds such as lovely pads. The Bemore also contains a high quality church organ soundbank.
You don’t find enough sounds or you just want certain specific sounds for storage within the extensive available piston memories?…Then you can (add, name, store?) them afterwards too. A substantial number of extra sample sounds are available for adding to the memory. In addition to these sample sounds, the Genesis XS2 can fully integrate VST instruments into the system. (Note from editor: I may have misunderstood some of this paragraph. If this doesn’t ring true, say it differently and send it to me again.)
If you opt for the Genesis XS2, you choose one of the most modern digital organs on the market.

Effects section
The Genesis XS2 comes with three professional effects. This allows you to actually do anything you want. From dry to very large professional cathedral reverberation of 10 seconds. (Note from editor: is this three simultaneous effect sections where you choose from a number of available effects in each section, or is it three single effects, i.e., reverb, chorus, and delay?)
    Change Sounds
All sounds can be intensively modified. Alterable parameters include: Octave, Transpose, Balance, and Velocity. Envelope shaping includes: Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release, Expression, Filter Cutoff freq, and Filter Resonance. Of course you may save any edited sound as a user sound.
    Presets
The Genesis XS2 has a new approach to making presets. Market research has indicated that few organist make their own registrations and setups. They find it hard to put together complete registrations. It also indicates that they would like to be able to quickly put together sounds and layered sounds. This is exactly what we have done. Within the BMS, you have 10 places where you can “drag” around your favorite sounds. These sounds are then placed directly on the main screen and can be called up immediately with one touch of the screen. This may either be one sound at a time or stacked/layered sounds. All with just one push on the screen. You can create an unlimited number of these quick presets in the system.
We have made every effort to make this easy for you. We made several presets which contain different sounds in each. One example is several flutes with violin and slow strings. In this case you choose one main sound but get six at the same time. How easy is that?
The Genesis XS2 is an organ for organ players (or organists) who do not wish to program the instrument each time. Extensive programming capabilities exist but if you don’t care to do so, just sit, play, and enjoy.

Touchscreen
The Bemore Genesis XS2 has the largest color touch screen ever integrated into a digital organ. The screen is a whopping 15.5“ wide and in HD quality. (Note from editor: US English for fifteen and a half inches is 15.5”. This may be different using European English. In addition, note that in the US, screens are generally measured on the diagonal rather than by width and/or height.)
    Intuitieve user interface
We have chosen to have a minimum number of underlying (embedded) operating screens. Most everything can be done from the main screen and/or by utilizing the dedicated buttons and sliders on the instrument.

Drawbar Sounds
The Genesis XS2 comes standard with a top class software-based drawbar sound engine. All drawbars are active in realtime: 9 for upper, 9 for lower, and 3 for bass give all you need to create and even save your own favorite drawbar sound(s) to emulate that B-3 organ that is the mainstay of so much rock, jazz, gospel, and standards music.

Option
The Genesis XS2 can be delivered with a state-of-the-art hardware drawbar sound engine with zero latency (no discernable delay).
This unit gives you the authentic and legendary “Tone Wheel” organ sound so that even real connoisseurs won’t hear the difference between an original electro mechanical tone wheel organ and our approach.
The Genesis XS2 is for everyone music style.
Now you do not have to choose whether you wish to buy a church organ, tonewheel clone, orchestral organ, or a theater organ. The Bemore Genesis XS2 delivers all of that and more.

Its success will be decided on its content and price; however it’s nothing new, as apart from a few hardware differences Wersi has been doing the same for the last 15 years. (If they can undercut both Wersi & Bohm it should shake up the market though)

Sound wise the demos do sound similar to this http://www.tastensounds.com/webshop/ind ... ommon/home which I find interesting, particularly as their available for Kontakt which is probably one of the most popular sample player engines out there. http://www.native-instruments.com/en/pr ... -5-player/ (Could this be the sound system used by Bemore I wonder)

Hopefully we will not have long to wait.

Bill

Hi

Back in the day, 37:30 would have been regarded as a reasonable, although not generous, running time for a vinyl albulm. How times change!

Every Blessing
