This is one of the most beautiful Danish midsummer songs. The time of the year in Denmark when the sun only sets for 2 to 3 hours….

Soft and light as an evenings breeze and here performed with my most romantic and sweet singer. Her voice suits the song perfectly.

That was glorious! Loved the backing with plenty of reverb on it. So often people play things and have the backing as a sort of 'apology'. As if the backing is not important ... and one can hardly hear it. Not so in this recording. The strong backing gives all the harmony to the song. Liked where you were the one to take over from the singer and play a verse for us. A lovely contrast. And you realise there are two musicians involved here and not just one.
