This is an analysis of the new Yamaha PSR SX series keyboards ie. the PSR SX700 and the PSR SX900. Not a comparison between these two keyboards, but an overall look at what is good about them .. and not so good.

Hello, Conclusion 3 is so correct. The Tyros4 & Tyros5 have the SA2 voices and sound "mellow" compares to the thumping bass and tinny sounds of the SX900. Regards, Den.

Hi,
Well I think he is slightly biased towards Korg keyboards , but a lot of what he says is true and having had both keyboards Korg and Yamaha I found I much preferred the Yamaha voices to the Korg, But he is right the Korg is a much more flexible keyboard as regards voice manipulation , but how many of us bother to do that ?
So to me the new PSR SX range of keyboards is a huge improvement over the previous PSR models and comes as near possible for the price range to being a good keyboard
