When I learn to play something new I like to record it, and this is when this happens. Not just hitting two notes when I should be hitting one, or hitting the wrong note, but also forgetting where I've got to in the song. My average 'take' when recording a song is 15 .. but I have been known to have over 30 attempts before getting it right. I couldn't possibly 'play out' to an audience as some of you have done most of your lives. Yes, I'm OK when playing with others in a band. It's the rest of the band that carry me along (nobody is really listening to me!).

Hello Brian, Know just what you mean,
The next ten lines are from my Australian dictionary explaining to my instruments what I wanted. Word hid that block!
Copied from a previous post of mine. Den.

Hi Hugh,
I have always been in a band, never been a solo player. Last time I played in a band was two and a half years ago . We did a charity do for Macmillan cancer nurses. Safety in numbers, thats my motto
