Hi Everyone. Well another cracking night of entertainment and chit chat. The evening lasted three hours and the eight members attended. Thanks to Dave,Les and GeorgeR for bringing the Genos, Tyros 1 and Technics Kn 7000.
Thanks to Dave for downloading styles onto usb for members to try on their keyboards.
Dave played his Genos and I particularly liked Let it be, and Whiter shade of pale.
Les played his Tyros 1 and liked his Jazz arrangement of Manhattan and also the stride piano.
Kenneth played the Genos and enjoyed the vibes on All of me.
GeorgeR played a selection of tunes liked his version of Spanish eyes.
Clem played the Genos and Let it be and other Beatles tunes were most enjoyable.
A surprise attendance of the oldest swinger in town Michael (93). Played and sang. Liked the new big band arrangement of Mack the knife. The performance of Cabaret was excellent the funny lyrics introduction had everyone laughing and we all requested it again. Thanks Michael.
The next night is Band night on Monday 17/1 at 6. 30pm. Books 4 and 5. Hope to see you there. Keep safe and well. John
Keyboard: Tyros 5
