I am very envious of your ability to ejoy a 'get together' with fellow enthusiasts :(

Questions: where do you hold your sessions? are 'visitors' welcome/allowed?

As a 'caravanner' I am a regular visitor to Durham and other locations within the land of the Prince Bishops :D

Hi Ken. Thanks for your reply. Yes visitors are most welcome . The venue is Burnside club Fence Houses. Midway between Houghton le Spring and Chester le Street. We play three Mondays a month.
First Monday 6.30pm is the most popular when nearly all attend about a dozen and there are normally three keyboards. A Genos, Tyros 1 and 5. Members and guests can play either. Lasts about three hours.
Second Monday of the Month 6.30pm. A couple of keyboards not as many attend about six, but the advantage is you get more keyboard time. Lasts over a couple of hours.
Third Monday at 6pm. This is our band night when we all take keyboards. This varies between about 4 to 6 members. We have five books of tunes and medleys. Our band leader plays the tune and style. We accompany him playing without the style. You can either just play the right hand or left or both. Lasts a couple of hours. Excellent evening.
Ken you are quite welcome to attend any evening. Just let me know. John
