Hi Everyone. The theme was Country and Western. There was a good turn out for the bank holiday. There were fourteen members present and four keyboards. A T4, Korg. Yamaha and a Technics. Seven of the members played a variety of tunes with some excellent styles, sounds and arrangements. I give a brief list of some of them.
John T He'll have to go and Tennessee Waltz.
Geoff. He'll have to go and Rynstone cowboy.
George W. Cigarettes and Whiskey and Blanket on the ground.
Olive. I fall to pieces and Oh lonesome me.
Nick. King of the road and Little old wine drinker me.
Lyn. Carnival is over and World of our own
George R Was having trouble with his fingers causing pain but managed to play I love you because.
Thanks to all who attended and in particular those who brought keyboards and played. It was an enjoyable night long may they continue.
The next evening is on Monday 12th at Fence Houses I am not sure who is bringing a keyboard but I am sure Nick will sort it out. So come along and give your support. See you all next week. John
