Hi Everyone. Just an update regarding our Xmas party. There were 17 present. Plus Santa Claus. The food was excellent.
Harry sent his apologies as his car broke down so frantically did a quiz. The winners were Keith and Brian, runners up were Lyn and Terry. The raffle also went well and thanks to Clem for providing extra prizes much appreciated.
Michael also sent his apologies because of his health. We wish him well.
Thanks to Bobby who played a varied selection of tunes, and carols, with a couple from Lyn. Bobby played very well considering his recent hand operation. The evening lasted two and a half hours.
Thanks to all who attended to make it an excellent evening.
The next night is Monday 4th January 2016 and it is go as you please. See you all there.
Just off to a funeral at Teeside a former member Sybil died. Our thoughts are with David at this sad time. John

It was a good night. I think you deserve a huge medal as big as a frying pan,you organised the whole night, the food and the players and the draw prizes,and even did the quizz at short notice. Also thanks to the players who kept us entertained.

I too would like to add my thanks to john for organising an excellent Christmas party but also for keeping the clubs going all year round. Did you hear the one about the biscuit tin that suddenly became two? We won't need Belgian buns for a few weeks!
