Hi Everyone. Band night. Despite a low turn out of members we had a good night and the playing seemed to be much improved. Book five was used again and Harry kept us going for two half hours. Fingers were welded to the keys. We played a lot of medleys to different styles. Three members brought keyboards So thanks to Harry,Kenneth and yours truly for bringing them. Thanks to our audience George and Bobby who where suitably impressed.
Medleys. Underneath the arches, Hometown,Strolling
Waiting for the Robert E Lee,California, Swanee, Baby face, Toot toot tootsie
Cavatina, True love, Moon river
What a wonderful world, Cant help falling, Unchained melody
On the street where you live, Wouldnt it be lovely, I could have danced all night
Easter Parade, Lullaby of broadway, Sunny side of the street, Me and my shadow
There were many many more.
Thanks to Bobby who finished off with an impromptu playing of a few tunes which was well worth a listen.
