Be Still

Postby Rev Tony Newnham » 08 Feb 2019 08:03

Since Hugh has set up a new board, here's a couple of contributions from the past. First up is a recent worship song "Be Still, for the Presence of the Lord" played on Allen ADC4600

Enjoy

Hi Tony. Nothing like a bit of church music. Remember it from my choir days. Enjoyed it. John

Hi Tony,

Nice piece of music. Not often one sees an electronic organ with three manuals! I see you were able to set the 'tremolo' to 'chorale' (slow) on the bottom manual and 'fast' (tremolo) on the middle one for playing the melody. Can't do that on my AR. It's either all on 'slow'; all on 'fast'; or all just 'straight', with no tremolo at all.

Hi

This Allen is a digital theatre organ, rather than a typical modern digital organ. For example, there's no rhythm unit or automatic styles. A rather different beast - but one I thoroughly enjoyed playing.
