How to get Romantic Sounds from Tyros4.
Just to show how much unnecessary noise is built into the keyboard:
Set up Style; 12-8 Ballad and in R1 put in the Saxophone. That’s all.
Now play some, does not matter what.
You have lots of noise from the left hand chords. OK?
Press the Channel ON/OFF button and turn OFF all the style parts.
Press the Mixing Console button twice and set ALL the style voices to zero.
Now play a chord! Why have you got a whole pile of string noise with something else playing? Get rid of it. But HOW?
Go to “Functions/Split Point” and on the left side you see “Style Stop Accompaniment.” Go to “OFF’.
Now when you press your chord keys you have no sound. Oh dear! So go back now and turn on all the style voices with the “Channel ON/OFF” and go into the Mixing console and put the volumes to what you want. Now you get sounds when you play, but only when you play. No extraneous noise.
Style sorted.
Now for the saxophone voice.
Press the R1 (F) to highlight the sax voice.
Press the Voice Set button and set it to “Mono”. Save as a new name (Sax2).
Back to the Mixing Console, tab to “Filter” Turn the Brightness to -64 for R1
Make sure that you are in Panel Part.
Exit out of that and play something nice and romantic.

Enjoy your change.
Den.

That's quite a beautiful sound you have achieved. And the photo of your rhodendron which appears when I looked at it on Google Chrome complements your post .Great. J.T.
