Every Christmas I listen to "Noel"# 10 Daquin.

It is played by Pierre Cochereau on the organ at Notre Dame. I'm hoping that one of our members have a crack at playing it on a modern key board or organ. I first heard it on Karl Haas 's " Keys to Music" on radio relayed each week to Australia. Gosh, I wish I could hear those wonderful programs again. I am going to try and find a copy of the sheet music. Louis Claude Daquin composed this beautiful piece of music during the reign of Louis X14 King of France. I think he also played before the king when he [Daquin] was aged about 6.
