Lyrics by Ogden Nash, Music by Kurt Weill in 1943.

A lovely song, and it suits the bossa nova perfectly.

I hope you enjoy my version.

Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4O_p4aTKIE

Cheers,

John.

Thanks den,

Glad that you enjoyed watching/listening, and for putting up the video.

It is actually better to view the video direct from YouTube as the version above has quite a lot missing from the right side, (which is why I don't do it).

Regards,
John.

Hi John,

A really nice sounding acoustic guitar in there, thoroughly enjoyed both the music and the video.

All the best, Brian007

John,

That was just wonderful, both to watch and to listen to. A true musician at work! But I can find no difference between any of the video formats .. watching on YouTube itself; watching from the embedded video on the Forum; or watching on my mobile. Eg. at 5:02 on the timeline the right hand edge of the bench is visible in all three. Can you let me know which part on the time line some of your video is missing? .. and I'll see if I can do something about it.

In any event, I reckon the best way to watch your videos is 'Full Screen' on my laptop (and with headphones on), which can be set up by clicking on the 'square' symbol bottom right of the YouTube video (you can do this with the 'Embedded' video once it starts playing). The right hand edge of the bench at 5:02 shows on Full Screen too .. whichever way you set it up.

Hugh

Hi John. Not one I know but enjoyed the Latin style. Liked the guitar and arrangement. Pictures were a nice watch. John

On my screen, the picture is cut at 4:30 ish minutes.
It isn't a problem as I always double click on the picture and get all the screen, then I maximise it to the full size of the monitor.

Cheers,

John.
