In England a summer holiday was where you went to the beach with 150,000 others, hired a deck chair, bought a beach tea tray with sandwiches which were more sand then wiches and tried to get sunburned.

I have been asked to post the video of “Good Old Summertime” which I have done reluctantly.

In my video it starts with rain which is not uncommon in England in the summer. However, in the Northern Territories summer is the monsoon period when it really rains. The rivers flow, the waterfalls fill the gorges and the whole landscape changes from the well-known red to fantastic colours in the wet rocks. Crocodiles abound and with the smallest amount of moisture plants that have been dormant maybe for years suddenly leap out of the ground. Within a short period of time the land is transformed.
