I live in New Zealand, but have been on holiday to England so this television series is particularly nostalgic for me. Love the pictures of the English countryside.

Coming from Kenya, this vision of England is what we had in the back of our minds every time we thought of 'Home'. As well as the other image .. England covered in snow at Christmas (why else would Bing Crosby have sung "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas"?).

I left the UK when I was very young, lived in New Zealand for many years, now in Australia. Loved your playing and the movie. Brought tears to my eyes. Have been back a few time for holidays but I don't think I could live back in the UK now. Thanks for posting. Regards, Den.

Alway loved this TV series and still watching all the repeats, I always think of my younger life spent in the country when I hear the sound track.
