World Without Love 1964

Hi ALL

This one goes as far back as me getting involved with the Challenge back in the day and it would have been recorded on my Tyros 5

"A World Without Love" is a song recorded by the British duo Peter and Gordon and released as their first single in February 1964. It was included on the duo's debut album in the UK,

Hi there Brian,
A very good performance of this fine old number well played and voiced my friend. :D :D :D

Jon D. :) :)
Hi there I have played from the age of 13 and all my music is played in a sort of dance tempo style. Have worked in nearly all the North East clubs over the years. That gave me a good grounding. Cheers.

Brian,

Really enjoyed listening to that! The organ voice sounded great .. and I liked the little 'interlude' with the guitar. Did you multitrack that? Or just split the keyboard so you had the guitar voice available when you wanted to use it? Do you even remember what you did?

Then you had the guitar for a whole verse. That was a nice contrast to the organ sound. Liked your ending too .. repeating that phrase to end it.

I remember Peter & Gordon singing that. This version below isn't the original. Peter Asher and Gordon Waller, live on morning TV in Canada in 2007, before an audience of over 4 million viewers.

Comment from under the video:
2 very gifted musicians. Forty plus years since the original recording in 1964. And they sound great. Performing live no less and no autotune in sight. These fellas have TALENT!
