I'll be your sweetheart

Hi Everyone. Just played the chorus twice as a waltz. The song is in 4/4 time but the chorus is a waltz. Most people just know the chorus. Hope you enjoy your listen. John

John,

No trouble loading your piece (both your LINKS are the same, so clicking on either will load it).

I am fascinated by your comment:
The song is in 4/4 time but the chorus is a waltz. Most people just know the chorus.

I'll Be Your Sweetheart is a 1945 British historical musical film directed by Val Guest and starring Margaret Lockwood, Vic Oliver and Michael Rennie. Listening to the below from the film, I can see (hear) where the 4/4 time comes in. And you're right. The basic melody we all know is sung as a waltz.

' I'LL BE YOUR SWEETHEART ' sung by Margaret Lockwood.

Here is a version by Foster & Allen.

Foster & Allen - I'll Be Your Sweetheart

In both cases the song is sung a lot faster than the tempo you chose, John.

Loaded easily for me. Interesting arrangement. I didn't know this song. I also enjoyed the two You tube clips of "I'll be your sweetheart" that Hugh posted. J.T.
