Release Me

I have never really liked the sax voices with their hissing and spitting. I wanted a smooth sound. Then I bought my new hearing aids at a phenomenal cost and to my dismay I heard a hissing of strings and a sound like a sax voice in the style. I turned OFF all the right voices and into the mixing console I turned off ALL the voices but the hissing remained. It was the same on ALL the styles, hissing and spitting . Yes, I had to turn the volume up to full but it did sound through to me. I tried all sorts of things and eventually I got what I wanted; a smooth sax voice and a smooth strings voice and no hissing and spitting.
In this piece I have used a Ballad Tenor Sax (R1) and Butter strings (R2) adjusting the voices in my Tyros 4.

Regards, Den.

Hi Den A relaxing listen. Liked the sounds. Pleased the hissing went. Engelbert Humperdinck did a version. I remember seeing him in a night club in Darlington the previous night he was Gerry Dorsey and the rest is history. John
