Grandfather Clock

Grandfather Clock

Postby Hugh-AR » 01 Apr 2024 00:37

Tried to re-set my Grandfather's clock by putting it forward one hour on Saturday night.
But ...

My grandfather's clock was too large for the shelf
So it stood ninety years on the floor
It was taller by half than the old man himself
Though it weighed not a pennyweight more
It was bought on the morn' of the day that he was born
And was always his treasure and pride
But it stopped, short never to go again
When the old man died.

Oh well! Just as well we have digital clocks these days that change automatically so we don't have to do it.

Which reminds me ...

Our Forum does not change it's clock automatically. You have to do it yourself (if you want the correct time to show on your postings in the Forum). If you are unsure how to do this, click this LINK.

Hi Hugh Always like your styles and sounds. Nice and relaxing with the added pieces. Enjoyed my listen on this wet and miserable morning. Although it good for the rice in my allotment. Hope it improves as holiday in Skye will be poor. John

Hi there I have played from the age of 13 and all my music is played in a sort of dance tempo style. Have worked in nearly all the North East clubs over the years. That gave me a good grounding. Cheers.
