Grandfather's Clock

Grandfather's Clock

Postby tucsondave » 01 Apr 2024 13:28

Arizona doesn't do that time change thing. For those that do, what's the future like?

Here's my version of "Grandfather's Clock" written by H. C. Work in 1876.

Then there's this version by my favorite Doctor.

Dave,

Liked your version! You managed to get the clock to STOP too!

In answer to your question:

The answer has to be ... BRIGHTER!!  ie. We get longer evenings of light in the summer!

Here's another version of this song from YouTube that I really like:

Foster & Allen - My Grandfather Clock.

Great play, liked the chimes at the end. We rented rooms at a guest house years ago and there was a grandfather clock in the hall. It took us ages to ignore its chiming every quarter hour at night. Thanks for posting, Regards, Den.

Hi there I have played from the age of 13 and all my music is played in a sort of dance tempo style. Have worked in nearly all the North East clubs over the years. That gave me a good grounding. Cheers.
