Well as you know from the beginning of last week I became a Korg PA1X user ... it is only my second Korg, the first being the Pa600 which I sold around autumn of last year.
I don't think they are the easiest of instruments to get to grips with ... but they certainly sound the business when you do get it together with them
Your certainly right there Mike, you have to learn to speak and think Korg What I am trying to do is to see who has what in the Korg stable and see what style, etc I can find and upload a few , the Pa80 format seems to cover the most keyboards.
Namely the models listed below Pa80 Pa60 Pa50 Pa50SD MicroArranger Pa1X Pa1X Pro Pa1X Elite Pa800 Pa2X Pa500 Pa500 Local Pa588 Pa3X Pa900 Pa600 Pa600QT
unless anyone can tell me different ,

Hi Brian, As you will have seen on my posts I own the PA3X and Micro Arranger, I love the Korg keyboards for their styles and sounds, they are the best for altering and tweaking, and feel more alive to me. As Mike rightly says people find them more difficult to come to terms with especially if being used with playing Yamaha, but once this is overcome they are the best, but all the keyboards have for and against. You mention your need for styles etc., I know you will have been into James Blyth selection in Facebook who has quite a good selection, but I have a lot of styles that may interest you, so give me some idea of what you are after and perhaps I can help. I hope your finger isn't long before it lets you post some performance for us, this would also give signs of you taste in music. playing. ATB. jackoj.

Hi Jacko, The finger is on the mend, its starting to scab over but its still sore and stiff and not much felling on one side where it has severed some of the nerves ? The styles not to sure what I am looking for at the moment had a go at creating one from scratch the other day and while it wasn't a complete success neither was it a complete disaster, and have since read up a lot and do intend to have more attempts at creating my own custom styles for individual songs.
Yes I know about the ones on Facebook and will investigate in due course. So thanks for the offer and will certainly give you a shout when need arise.

Hi Brian I try to play the Kory pa3x simply the best and going to get better soon. As for what style and sounds are available at times I think there's to many. Bill
Yes there are simply loads of styles and the hard part I find is marrying the tune and the style togther I suppose it will come easier with time.

I have the KORG PA 900. I am from an organ background and would say things about my week old KORG:
1. The voices and styles are superb. 2. The manual is a nightmare. 3. It is very difficult to get to grips with when you are used to things working in a different way. 4. It will be worth the effort - hopefully.
Hi Keith, KORG are unlike any other keyboard I have ever come across ? Manual is a pain, so youtube and the Korg Forum are probably your best be initially Remember Enjoy it that's what it's,all about
